Samantha (Sam) Morine is the Director of Grant Administration for the National Pork Board. In her role, she is responsible for the delivery of the USDA NRCS Climate Smart Grant programs and developing further cost share opportunities for pork producers.

Background

Before joining NPB in November 2022, Sam worked in the UK agricultural and pork industry for 10 years. While in the UK, Sam had progressive opportunities at the Agriculture & Horticulture Development Board. Before she relocated back to the United States she was the Head of Operations at the Institute for Agriculture & Horticulture. Sam grew up on the family farm where they raised hogs in Iowa.

Education

Sam holds a B.S. degree in public service and administration in agriculture from Iowa State University and a MSc degree in International HR from the University of Gloucestershire.

The Advancing U.S. Pork Sustainability grant is a new opportunity for farmers in Iowa, Minnesota and Missouri to receive technical support and incentives for adopting climate-smart agriculture practices.
