Neal joined the National Pork Board in 2018 and currently serves as the Director of State & Regional Marketing. In this role, he works closely with state pork associations and retail partners, identifying how NPB’s consumer insights and market growth efforts align with their specific markets, goals and needs. This work drives adoption of the Taste What Pork Can Do™ campaign with state partners and regional retailers, helping NPB reach consumers at the point of purchase to drive sales for the pork category

Background

Neal has more than 30 years’ experience in the food industry, including foodservice and retail. He grew up on a small farm near Moravia, Iowa, where his family raised pigs and other livestock.

Education

  • Bachelor of Business Administration with emphasis in marketing and a minor in Speech Communication, Iowa State University
