Human Nutrition

The Human Nutrition Task Force of the National Pork Board is currently soliciting research proposals in human nutrition.

This request for proposals targets research that can help advance understanding of the role of pork and pork-related nutrients:

  • Within healthy diet patterns across cultures, life stages and socio-economic status

  • As an environmentally sustainable protein that delivers nutrition quality, accessibility and cultural applicability

  • Using new research methodologies that pioneer exploration of the nutritional value of pork related to specific health outcomes

NOTE: This proposal uses a Letter of Intent for initial screening. Please follow directions provided on the RFP for format and submission requirements.

Real Pork Trust & Image

Enhancing Real Pork Trust & Image Through Communication, Research and Training

The National Pork Board will soon be soliciting proposals from groups of subject matter experts to work collaboratively to address questions about pork and pork production through communication, research, and training.

Due Date:
RFP open Feb 7.
Proposals will be due March 14.
