Pork Industry Collaborates to Reduce Emissions with Genetic Innovations
Pork companies are increasingly focusing on environmental impact, especially reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. To meet the goals they’ve set, new genetic innovations and other practices are needed. NPB and Pig Improvement Company (PIC) are working together to develop a pathway for these innovations. This includes creating a Genetics Innovation Ecosystem Services Framework that shows how these genetic advancements can help reduce GHG emissions and create value for the industry.
