Andy Tauer is the vice president of international market development for the National Pork Board. In this role, Andy builds strong relationships across international markets and works closely with the U.S. Meat Export Federation to grow and expand the customer base for U.S. pork.
Background
Before joining NPB in 2025, Andy served as the executive director of public policy for the Indiana Farm Bureau. In this role, he led a team advocating for agriculture at the local, state and federal government levels. Other past roles include leading the livestock development programs for the Indiana Soybean Alliance and the Indiana Corn Marketing Council, which included working closely with USMEF on pork export projects.

Andy has nearly two decades of experience in the agriculture sector. He graduated from the Indiana Ag Leadership Program, a two-year program that develops and equips leaders to advance agriculture at the state, national and international levels. Andy lives in Indiana with his wife and two daughters.
